In November 2023 we went to Tunisia. We drove from the Netherlands to Genoa and took the ferry to Tunis. The first week in Tunisia we visited Tunis and around, the excavations of El Djem, Mahdia, Sfax and the environment of desert town Tozeur. In the second week we left with a group of seven Toyota LandCruisers (including the local guide) for a trip through the desert. After that we drove back to the ferry in Tunis and travelled back to the Netherlands.
The total trip was 4,694 km in 26 days. We spent 20 days in Tunisia and drove 2,341 km in Tunisia in total. In this video you get a good impression of the desert trip with the group.
